SLEEPING RUFF for 8 Below Husky Rescue

On Saturday 1st October Brooke and I will be taking on the challenge of sleeping RUFF for STRAYS at 8 Below Husky Rescue 🤍

As many of you will already know Brooke is always at the heart of 8 Below and will often be seen helping out at the events we do , some adopters may have met her at the kennels where she likes to spend time with the rescue dogs , she has taken on many challenges over the years  to help 8 Below and she is now wanting to ‘ SPEND THE NIGHT SLEEPING ROUGH ‘ she has even managed to persuade some of team to join in with her! 

Rescue is in CRISIS!

8 Below Husky Rescue currently have 268 surrender requests, this number is rising every day , many requests from other rescues needing breed specific help , the dog warden , strays who are at risk and vets who are often in awful situations 😭

We are taking in as many dogs as we can but sadly it just doesn’t feel like enough but we are doing are absolute best , we have a small team working tirelessly and we will continue to fight what feels like a loosing battle every day. 

Dog ownership in this country is a mess, we are worried for the future of all rescue centres right now and how many will survive this crisis. 

We have to be realistic and know this is going to get worse, The cost of living crisis is going to have a huge impact on all animals and people 💔 

We Really Need HELP , our kennel bills are coming in thick & fast :(
