Headway provide amazing support for people who have experienced a brain injury, including stroke, TBI and chronic illnesses like MS, as well as their families. As someone who works in a clinical neuropsychology service, the importance of charities like Headway is abundantly clear, but I also have a personal connection. A close family member suffered three haemorrhagic strokes in 2022/23 which caused significant brain damage and resulted in life changing disabilities. As a family it has been incredibly challenging to know where to turn, and Headway have been a great support.
