UPDATE: I’ve been blown away by all the support received. From every pound donated to each message of encouragement, it’s all helping to keep me going and my legs moving.

With 19 marathons remaining, I want to push this challenge even further and have decided to double the target to £64,500.

This amount would be enough money to fund two Macmillan specialist nurses for the duration of the Project 26:26 challenge. It is a small way of saying thank you to the Macmillan teams who do such amazing and important work in helping people throughout their cancer journey. I’ve seen this first hand with the support they’ve shown Tom and I know what a difference the money we raise will make.

Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

I am attempting to run a marathon of marathons! Yes, 26 Marathons in 26 weeks. With the 26th marathon being the TCS London Marathon 2024. 

Why? I want to spread the word on the amazing work that the Macmillan charity does for families like mine. In 2022 my brother Tom was diagnosed with cancer, and we will continue to be supported by the Macmillan charity throughout his treatment. I want to give back in the best way I know how...running! By taking on such a huge task, I hope to raise as much money as I can to say thank you. If anyone would like to join me for a mile or two along with their donation it would be greatly appreciated!

I am going to give this gruelling challenge my best shot, and any donation would help to give back to this fantastic charity.
