Story
Thank you taking the time to read this! For those of you who don’t know me, I am Jack Brock a chestnut miniature Shetland pony with a big personality. I can from the travellers fair in stow on the wold as a foal. Ali came across me in a field age 3 and has owned me ever since! I’m now 19!
I along with my owner Ali have been visiting care-homes voluntarily for 9 years! And we started fundraising for Dementia Uk in 2019. I certainly bring a smile to peoples faces, the residents can stroke my nose and feed me carrots, rub my back and just make a fuss of me! It is wonderful to see them smile and respond so well to me although many are very poorly. When we visit care-homes we ask that in return they may be able to donate £40 to our justgiving page. I often can be seen shaking money buckets raising money, and have done a few sponsored walks in my time too! The smallest of donations help our cause and help keep us motivated to keep going out in the trailer and making sure I’m clean and presentable. Our dream goal is make people smile and give them a tiny bit of an escape from reality, escape from fear, loneliness, sadness and anxiety. With your help we can raise much needed money for Dementia Uk to help families battling with the heartbreaking illness that is Dementia.
