In memory of HRH Queen Elizabeth II

Jack HUNTER is raising money for The Rainbow Centre Scarborough
In memory of HRH Elizabeth II
The Rainbow Centre provides support to people who are homeless, vulnerable or facing crisis. We support people through listening and advocacy work and provide access to a food bank, a hot shower and washing facilities and clothing, bedding and kitchen items.

Story

This is an invitation to friends and neighbours to honour the memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, by making a small donation to a local good cause.

The Queen supported hundreds of British charities, including a huge number of community causes that helped people in poverty. This is an opportunity for us to honour her life and her work, by supporting a local charity that helps many of those in greatest need.

The Rainbow Centre in Scarborough offers practical support to vulnerable people in the local community. They offer an open door to anyone in need of help with any issues they are facing, including homelessness, food poverty and financial difficulties. They were established in 1997, and were due to celebrate their 25th anniversary this weekend, before deciding to cancel out of respect for the Queen.

(I don’t have any involvement with the Rainbow Centre. Just thought I’d try to do something positive at a time of national mourning)
