Story
Jo bravely battled Lymphoma since April 2020, facing 4 rounds of brutal chemotherapy, the toughest chemo the doctors at St James’ hospital prescribed, and a round of stem cell treatment. Unfortunately, this was still not enough.
St James' Cancer Centre gave Jo the opportunity of life following a devastating biopsy in April. Despite the subsequent chemo failing to beat the aggressive cancer, the amazing Nurses went above and beyond to care for Jo in the following 9 months, as well as the talented Doctors who were of the highest calibre.
We could not speak more highly of the amazing work they do at the Cancer Centre, and as such, would encourage any donations in the memory of Jo to be donated to Leeds Cares, a charity that supports Leeds NHS staff to deliver the best care for patients & their families.
