Story

The world’s biggest coffee morning will be returning to the Jewellery Quarter in September to raise both awareness and money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Jewellery Quarter-based businesses will be drinking mugs of coffee on Friday 26th September and urging others to do the same. All of the proceeds from the day will help the Macmillan team continue to provide support to people living with cancer in the UK.

Last year’s coffee morning saw local businesses baking cakes, holding raffles and turning up to work in fancy dress. £7,800 was raised in total with all profits going to Macmillan.

It’s the ideal time for the Jewellery Quarter community to come together to raise funds and awareness for a good cause, whilst having the opportunity to socialise and indulge in a cake, or two!
