TEAM JIGGLE TRIO TO CYCLE LENGTH OF BRITAIN

Barnaby, Emily and Ben are cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End

Depart: John O'Groats                      Arrive: Land's End

                                                       26th July 2010                               16th August 2010

                                                                                       1000 miles

                                                                                         3 weeks

                                                                                        1 reason...

On 23rd April 2007 my Dad, John, was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Just 3 days later he passed away. He was only 59 and left, my Mum Fiona, my two sisters Naomi and Jemima, my brother Barnaby and me.

He was found to have Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, a very aggressive strain of the disease which is still relatively rare, but expected to rise in the future.

Our aim is to raise money to aid further research into this and other strains of Leukaemia.

If the money helps prevent just one family from going through what we have, and help one person to survive, his memory will be truly honoured.

Ben.

                                                                                 WE WANT YOU!

Throughout the 3 week challenge you are all invited to join us. You may want to wish us well, sponsor us or go that one step further and actually take part. You may wish to cycle with us for a day, a weekend or even a week... for as little or as long as you would like.

However, if you aren't a cyclist (or just look awful in lycra) never fear, there are plenty of other things you can do; firstly by simply donating through this site. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

More "hands-on" ways of helping include; support along the way, riding in the support vehicle, manning the water station or holding tins and raising money as we go.

We will appreciate any support you can give.

Every pound could be the pound that saves a life.

                                                                                         IN MEMORY

You can shed tears that he is gone
or you can smile because he has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see him
or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember him and only that he's gone
or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
or you can do what he'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and...

Cycle from John O'Groats to Land's End.
