Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit our School’s JustGiving page for Spellathon. Spellathon is a sponsored spelling competition in aid of the charity Mencap. Our school has pledged to spell as many words correctly as we can whilst playing Spellathon spelling games. Please sponsor our pupils for their fantastic spelling efforts. Your donation will go to a truly amazing charity. Mencap are the voice of learning disability. Everything they do is about supporting people with a learning disability, their families and carers. For example: £10 could mean another family could find the best way to stimulate their child's development by calling Mencap Direct, the Learning Disability Helpline £20 could pay for one hour employment support for someone with a learning disability looking for work. £100 could pay for someone with a learning disability to receive four hours advocacy support. Any donations would be gratefully received to enable this fantastic charity to continue its life changing work. Our school can also win prizes, including a £10,000 cash prize kindly donated by Digital Giving Ltd. The more our school raises, the better chances we have to raise funds for our school.
