Story
In support of the Black Lives Matter Movement, on Sunday 12/07/20, a group of Iyengar Yoga teachers will be offering 2 two and a half-hour yoga workshops - one in the morning (10:30 am to 1 pm) and one in the afternoon (2:30 pm to 5 pm). The workshops will be suitable for students of all levels, apart from complete beginners. The programme for both workshops will be the same but they will be taught by different teachers - 6 teachers for each session.
There is no fee but we are asking for donations to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust a very effective and long-established organization whose work is rooted in tackling the artificial barriers which hold back so many people particularly those from Black and Minority Ethnic heritage. They work with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
