Following dad’s passing we would like to share with you details of a charity here in Surrey which was really important to us in the last five years.

Crossroads Care Surrey is a charity that provides support to carers who look after loved ones with complex needs.

They supported us by providing Mum & Dad with weekly sessions where they got to make friends, join in activities, parties, celebrating different festivals, birthdays and enjoy sharing a hot meal before returning home.
Mum and dad really enjoyed this club and looked forward to it.
When mum became too ill to attend the club, the charity once again stepped in and provided a one to one companion for dad, this gave us invaluable time to spend with mum. Ann was dad's carer. She wanted to do things that dad enjoyed. She soon realised what a card shark he was and she even  learnt some new games from him. She was delighted on the rare occasion she managed to beat him. She would also take him out for regular drives, a coffee or lunch.
We would like to request that in lieu of sending flowers or wreaths that you might consider supporting this wonderful charity so that they might continue to provide this much needed service to others carers.

Isu looked forward to our visits and outings around Surrey countryside stopping for lunch. We'd laugh as he shared his hilarious life memories in his words 😉. Thank you Isu for your friendship and the happy memories such a kind and giving gentleman very much missed."
