Story

 WE DID IT!!!

Thanks to all of you who sponsored us!!!

On Saturday 27th March the Child Contact Centre Water Babies participated in the 6th Rotary Charity Swimathon and managed to swim amazing 141 laps in 55 minutes.

The team did extremely well and managed to keep up until the very end. They were tired but very happy. Please take some time and have a look at some of the photographs taken at the event.

Just a quick reminder:

The Salisbury Child Contact Centre offers an impartial, supported and safe environment for children from separated families (for more details please visit http://www.salisburyccc.org.uk/). Our desire is to work together with parents and children in ways that will enable us to make a real difference; in particular by giving children a listening ear and help them to deal with issues of family breakdown and the emotional scars that it produces for them. We are entirely dependent on donations, and as we simply want to help children who are not able to see their non-residential parent, we need money to operate.

The Salisbury Rotary Club has managed to attract 36 teams who swam on the day and the beneficiaries are:

1 - Salisbury Child Contact Centre (that is us)

2 - The Jeniifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy

3 - Salisbury & District Citizens Advice Bureau

4 - Other Charities supported by Salisbury Rotary Club and Rotary International

If you haven't done it yet there is still time to make your donation; it is simple, quick and secure. It is also the most efficient way to give – so every donation goes further – and if you are a taxpayer and give Gift Aid consent the charity will receive an extra 28% at no cost to you.

Thank you for your support.

The Contact Centre Water Babies
