Not only is it important to donate money to help rescue and support the poor animals that have been affected by the devastation of the Australian bushfires, it is also important to support this charity as they help animals all across the world that experience cruelty and are suffering. 

HSI is currently helping animals in Australia but more help is needed due to the scale of the destruction and the millions of animals left without a home, injured and scared. Nearly half a billion animals have been impacted by the fires in NSW alone, nearly a third of all koalas in NSW have died. There is an immediate need to locate, rescue and care for the injured animals and a longer term focus on helping these suffering animals affected by the loss of habitat.
