I have been volunteering with Slough Foodbank for nearly 4 years and have seen first hand what a difference it can make. We are able to provide a space where people know that they will always get a warm welcome with no judgement and food for them and their family. It's not a surprise that referrals to foodbanks have increased significantly recently and the demand is putting a real strain on stocks. You may also not know that the foodbank is able to provide emergency fuel vouchers to clients, something that is being requested more and more.

As we approach Christmas, which will be a very hard time for many, I wanted to see if I could raise some money to support our foodbank. I know that times are really tough for lots of people but if you can spare anything then every penny donated can make a real difference to someone in desperate need.
