Irial and Harriet go for a casual THIRTEEN MILE RUN

Leeds Half Marathon 2011 · 8 May 2011 ·
So, we are 21. Probably at the peak of our fitness. We decided if we can't do it now we'll never be able to do it.
As you probably know, we're not really the running type (we hate running). Therefore, we hope you'll appreciate what a challenge this is for us.
We've decided to give to Medical Aid to Palestinians, a really worthwhile charity that provides essential care for Palestinians caught in the middle of a terrible situation. It is not a political organisation, and has no motives other than to give help to those desperately in need.
If you want to learn more here are a few examples of what we could achieve:
£25 could help us to get patients who are denied exit from Gaza the medicines to help them cope.
£50 could help us to supply the spare parts to maintain Gaza's aging medical equipment.
Israel's blockade restricts the movement of even terminally ill or critically injured Palestinians, and has ridiculously strict control over what medical equipment is allowed to enter. MAP provides medical aid where the Israeli government prohibits it. Its work is essential.
Something that JustGiving wants us to tell you:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
That's all! THANK YOU!
