Amnesty International is the voice for people that don't have one. They defend people who have had their freedom, rights and justice has been denied.

It is a charity that helps all who have had their rights taken away from them. This includes political prisoners, people denied the right to vote and express their views, victims of modern day slavery such as prostitution and forced labour, victims of domestic violence, equal rights for women and the gay community and to end things such as the death sentence and working towards closing places like Guantanamo Bay Prison and abolioshing torture.

We often take for granted our freedom of speech, education and the good life we have: partying being with our friends whenever we please, ipads, ipods, blackberry, regular shopping sprees and having the choice to be able to fulfill our dreams how we want well ... we are a minority in the world and there are other young people out there that would do anything to have a fraction of what we have...

We believe this is very important to support them in doing this job because there are people out there that dont have the power to defend themselves, so we need to support the people that support others. Its going to be a challange to raise this money but we are up for it! We also really want to do skydiving and are up for the new experience.
