It is with regret that we announce the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Darren Bird our Senior Design Manager in London.  Darren was a hugely popular member of the ISG team and provided guidance and technical support to many of our staff. We all know that Darren was extremely passionate about Swimming pool design and construction and was considered to be an expert in this field. Together with his commitments to supporting West Ham United he always had a real passion for the design of leisure facilities. When Darren joined ISG four years ago his main task was to help us win a major project, which he did and that project was The Mandarin Oriental Hotel.  On that job he was universally popular, highly regarded and considered as the ‘Oracle’ on the scheme.

Darren was a great colleague and mentor as well as a friend to everyone he knew. He will be deeply missed.

We express our deepest sympathy to his daughter Ellie, son Tyler and his brother Steven at this difficult time. May Darren rest in peace.
