It is with deep sadness that we have to share with you that our wonderful Mum, Jan Redmond, passed away yesterday after a courageous struggle with Cancer. We were at her bedside when she drifted from us, peacefully, to join her beloved Andy.

Jan was such a kind hearted person and an amazing mum, grandma, nan, great-grandma, sister and friend to many. She loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She wanted to see us supporting a cancer care charity and so, if you would like to remember Jan with a donation to charity, we have set-up this JustGiving page, in support of Newbury Cancer Care.

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages of condolence. They mean a lot to us.

A service will be held for JANET REDMOND at West Berkshire Crematorium on Thursday 27th April 2023, at 4pm. Donations can be made in her memory to Newbury Cancer Care via the JustGiving page below (or by contacting Camp Hopson funeral directors on 01635 522210).

For those attending the funeral service, please note that:
- guests are welcome to wear colours of their choice
- there will be a chance at the start of the service for family and close friends to go to the front of the chapel and place a single flower, a token or a drawing/message from the children, in remembrance of Jan.
- a small reception will be held after the service, for family and close friends, at The Bowlers Arms, Enborne Street, Wash Common, Newbury, RG14 6TW
- whilst it was Jan’s preference for those wishing to remember Jan to make a donation to charity (see our just giving page) should anyone want to send flowers, this can be done by contacting Sam or Helen at florists Willow-and-Bloom on 01635 528900
