Story

Ryan Carter sadly passed away on the 27th July. For his funeral we would like people to donate to a charity he had dedicated much of his life to instead of flowers. In the past he had worked with Autism Hampshire which is a cause he cared about dearly.

Autism Hampshire (Charity Reg No: 288141) works to deliver a better future for people on the autistic spectrum by creating opportunities, challenging perceptions and enhancing choices. This charity provides a range of services, including autism focused training, domiciliary care, supported living services, mentoring and a community access team. While Ryan supported many causes during his life, Autism Hampshire had a special place in his heart due to the years he spent working to help improve the lives of people on the autistic spectrum.

Everyone is so proud of Ryan's accomplishments and has made such a big impact on the world. The loss of Ryan will leave a big whole in this world which we must all unite to try continue his legacy, following his dreams and aspirations.  Whether you knew Ryan well or had only met him once, it is certain his enthusiasm for what he cared about affected you in some way or another.

Funeral

The funeral will be on the 22nd August at Test Valley Crematorium, Ridge Ln, Romsey SO51 6AB at 4PM.

We would like friends and family to bring along nice photos they would like to contribute to a photo album.

Dress code for the funeral will not be traditional, as you would expect for Ryan. We ask if everyone can wear smart casual clothing with something black and red appose to the traditional black suit. If you have a band shirt feel free to wear that as it is what he would have wanted.

Celebration of life (Wake)

The wake after the funeral will be held at the Coach And Horses, 11 Southampton Rd, Cadnam, Southampton SO40 2NF.

Please feel free to attend the celebration of his life and share stories and memories with his friends, colleagues and family.

Walk the test way (Charity Walk)

We would also like to ask anyone wanting to participate in a charity walk in honour of Ryan to join using the link below, otherwise donations are more than welcome. The walk is in association with the Rotary Club For Romsey who host 'Walk the test way' event yearly. This year it is on the 29th September. The Rotary Club For Romsey will distribute the funds to to Autism Hampshire on our behalf following the completion if the walk.
