Story
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a debilitating disease which effects the brain and spinal cord. Unfortunately, around 7000 people are diagnosed every year with MS and since there is currently no cure for this life limiting disease, many people rely on local charities such as the MS Research and Relief fund.
Nicola, a close family friend of mine, was diagnosed with MS around 15 years ago and since then has been supported by the MSRRF. She is a constant reminder that determination and positivity can help you find a way to cope with any obstacles that life throws at you and that a hobby as simple as running shouldn’t be taken for granted. This has inspired me to complete this challenge as a tribute to her.
