We are a team of ordinary people who have come together to welcome a refugee family to Ilfracombe under a scheme known as Community Sponsorship. We are delighted to announce that we have now welcomed a family and we have the full support of our parish, district and county council.

However as part of our welcome we need to cover things like interpreters and other expenses which a family arriving in a new country need. We had a number of fundraising events planned for this year, but like so many other charities we've had to cancel these due to the pandemic. So we are turning to Just Giving to help us reach this target. A huge, heartfelt thank you to those amazing people (as I write) who have helped us get some way towards our target.
