Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm trying to raise money for a worthy cause, Exeter Food Action, as they save food from going to waste and redistribute it to a range of local charities who then get it into the mouths of deserving people. I thought of doing this as I need a physical challenge for my Bronze DofE and as we've got a rowing machine etc etc. Initially I thought of the English Channel distance as a reference to the journey people risk their lives on, trying to get to the UK to build a better future for themselves - we're so lucky to be here already. I'm not looking to raise a lot but every penny will feed people, there's something satisfying about that. Thanks for reading, Ike.
