Story

A year ago I thought I was suffering from indigestion, but my GP packed me off in an ambulance to A&E with suspected heart problems.

Turned out he was right; two of the three main arteries into my heart were clogged up. The indigestion feeling was my heart signalling it was in distress - heart attack.

Following two stents was 12 weeks of twice-weekly aerobics - part funded by the Sussex Heart Charity.

I'm doing this challenge with the cardiac rehabilitation group I still exercise with twice weekly - fitClinic.  Since February we have been training every Sunday morning - which mainly consists of punishing hill climbs up Devil's Dyke and Ditchling beacon.

I'm a heck of a lot fitter but as this is going to be a major challenge for my hefty mass. Wish me luck.
