Story

In 2012 a group of us trekked to Everest base Camp in aid of Walking with the Wounded. To continue that fundraising, on May 18th  a team of 4 (Charlie, David, Ian and Jax) are undertaking the Cumbrian Challenge; a 33k hike, 2327m of altitude gain, covering 10 peaks taking in Striding Edge, Hevellyn, Red Screes.

On the Everest Trek we saw at first hand the inspiring and indomitable spirit of those wounded in the line of duty and this challenge provides another opportunity to help raise money for WWTW, to give something back to our incredible service men and women.

The funds raised finance new qualifications, courses and further education for those who are seriously injured. It enables the blind, the burn victims, the mentally injured, the amputees and all the other wounded personnel to rebuild their lives and to return to the work place.
