I recently not only lost my Dad , but also my Best Friend to Heart Disease.  My Dad was only 61 when he passed away, and we had no idea that he was suffering with Heart Disease, and neither did he. Coronary Heart Disease is known as the silent killer, and is the UK's single biggest killer. Heart Disease is responsible for more than 73,000 deaths in the UK each year. About 1 in 6 men and 1 in 10 women die from Coronary Heart Disease each year.

I have decided to opt for the British Heart Foundation Charity as my chosen charity.  The British Hearty Foundation is the UK's number one Heart Charity, and through 50 years of cutting edge research have already made a big difference to people's lives.The Mission of the British Heart Foundation is to win the fight against Coronary Heart Disease, and with pioneering research, the BHF has helped transform the lives of people living with Heart and Circulatory conditions. 

I know for sure that my Dad would much rather money goes to a good cause than people spending money on Flowers, so I would prefer people make a Charitable donation instead of Flowers if they wish.
