Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 22/11/2003 Fenella and I saw a wonderful event in Sydney when we watched England win the rugby World Cup. We both agreed that it was one of the best and happiest days in our life together.

On 5/12 2003, Davina, Fenella's sister lost her brave battle against cancer, the saddest day.  Talk about contrasting emotions and yes a reality check.

She was the same age as me, just 46 and left three wonderful children, husband and close family.

So why this page now and why Davina's House for Hope?

I recently entered a competition among my fellow property investors with a cash prize generously donated by our property mentors. I had learned a lot and done reasonably well in a short space of time and I wanted to give something back.

What better than a house for Davina.

A capital asset that would also produce income.

The cash prize with my own money will form a deposit.

The rental income from that property will go to Cancer Research and any cash on refinancing will also go to Cancer Research and finally I will leave the house in my will to this charity.

This small sum will enable them to continue to research and one day provide hope for everyone affected by the big C.

The target is deliberately high and excludes the value of the house.
