We offer support and services to improve the lives of women

Story

Welcome to International Women's Day @ Imperial College Chemistry, and thank you for joining us to celebrate the achievements of women in our community today.

International Women's Day also provides an important opportunity to fundraise for female-focused charities, help raise their visibility, and amplify their awareness raising efforts.

As such, we will be holding a charity raffle and all funds raised will be donated to the West Hampstead Women's Centre. The raffle will take place during the Networking Drinks @ Scale Space.

Tickets will cost £1 each or £4 for a strip of 5 (minimum purchase of 2 tickets). To purchase a raffle ticket please make a donation to our Just Giving page for the amount of tickets you would like to buy. Then, come and find one of our friendly organisers who will provide you with your raffle tickets.

The draw will take place on the night, hosted by our very own Prof. Oscar Ces, with lots of exciting prizes to include -

  • Three Course Lunch for Two at Gordon Ramsay 's Savoy Grill
  • Champagne Afternoon Tea for Two in The Domes at Doubletree By Hilton London Kensington
  • Spa Day for Two at Bannatyne Health Club
  • Sipsmith Distillery Tour for Two
  • And many more goodies (gift vouchers, subscriptions, books, etc.)

A big thanks to the rEaCT CDT and Postgraduate Committee for their generous donations of prizes!
