‘Boost 24 Hour Challenge – a 24 hour walk to raise funds for Donisthorpe Nursing Hall and Residential Home’

I want to tell you about one of my crazy goals for this summer.  I will be taking part in a gruelling 24 hour walk through Leeds - yes that means all day and all night…without breaks!

The walk starts on 5th May - followed by 100km of walking through the night! - and finally finishes on 6th May!

If you could donate any amount, it will be greatly appreciated and will really help to spur me on!

With the help from Boost Drinks who are sponsoring the event to make this happen logistically, and with the help from Carnegie Great Outdoors, this means that every penny that is donated will go direct to Donisthorpe Hall. 

I know that we are all constantly asked to dig deep for many worthy causes, but for those of you who know about Donisthorpe Hall, it truly is a remarkable Nursing and Residential home, and it needs more funds to provide the extra special care and services to its residents. Donisthorpe has residential beds, nursing care beds, and also a new 24 bedded Dementia unit.  This is particularly special to me as my grandma resides there.
