We created #BBonFilm as an exciting way to connect with our all our friends online. Right now we are busy rehearsing, making films & creating content such as online ballet classes to inspire those on the stage, behind the scenes and in the audiences.

Story

At ICS London our students use their creativity to give back to the community. We have chosen Black Ballet to recognise the racial inequality present in accessing the arts.

We recognise that racism is built into the systems within our society and the Arts is one of these systems. We want to support and celebrate diversity in the arts and give back to other creative communities.

We've been working to find ways to continue to share our passion for ballet with you! We created #BBonFilm to help us connect with our followers and friends during this time, and, in the coming weeks, will be sharing some of our original repertoire, created especially for us by some very exciting choreographers. Teaching is at the heart of what we do, so in addition to performances, we will be offering free online classes taught by members of the Company, and have re-opened our BB Junior School online. If you are able to help us with a donation of any size, we would be very grateful for your support!
