We are raising funds for Sadaqah Jariyah on behalf of our beautiful grandmother Zubeda Begum who passed away a few days ago. May Allah swt grant her the highest level of Jannah, let her grave be full of light and warmth and may he forgive her for all her shortcomings.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, 

‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’

Anyone who knew my grandmother would agree she was extremely kind, honest, generous and would love anyone unconditionally. She was the essence of a beautiful soul who left her mark on every heart she touched. A devout wife, a loving mother, a caring aunt, an amazing mother in law and the BEST grandma anyone could ask for. 

Her absence has left a deep void in our lives one that will take time to heal as she was so special and loved, however we can come together now and donate in her name to build a water well in Pakistan in a deprived community. This will be beneficial to so many who are in need of clean water and may Allah swt reward our Nani and increase her rank further because of it. 

Please find it in your hearts to donate whatever you can as sadaqah is a means of elevating her status further and you also gain the rewards of donating to a great cause. Once we have achieved our target the water pump will be built and have her name engraved on it and she will gain the rewards from anyone who drinks from it :)

Prophet Muhammad said: The best form of charity is to give someone water (to drink). (Ibn Majah)The sad reality is that 783 million people worldwide do not have access to clean water. It's so much more than just clean water. Having reliable access to safe, clean water means that drinking, cooking, washing, watering crops and animals and making wudu no longer pose a risk of illness.A simple water pump gives the less fortunate a chance to break free from poverty and transform their lives for years to come.
