Story

Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm cycling 160 miles from Alexandra Palace to Donnington Park along with Alex Milas, editor of Metal Hammer, Rod Smallwood, manager of Iron Maiden, and a bunch of like minded musicians, fans and music industry professionals. We are the Heavy Metal Truants.

We are raising money for three awesome charities who work to help kids who are disadvantaged, sick or vulnerable.

Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline

It is mid june so hopefully the weather will be on our side, but we will be riding come rain, wind or shine. Whatever the weather i will probably still have my factor 50 ginger cream on.

It would be awesome if you could support this cause by giving whatever you can, pennies or pounds all appreciated and don't forget about gift aid.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

RCN 280960
Nordoff and Robbins is the UK’s largest music therapy charity, with a unique approach shaped by more than 60 years of practice. Through the power of music, it breaks through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation. The charity does this through providing music therapy to people across the UK, whilst also training the music therapists of the future and funding research to measure and improve the impact of its work.
