Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page in honour of Hugh Francis Doherty (Frank) who passed away in October 2022 after a battle with silicosis and the devastating impacts of this.

In Frank’s final few years he was registered as a patient at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, the UK's leading heart and lung hospital, and Frank and his family are forever grateful to this hospital and all its staff for the great lengths they went to in helping Frank to better health.

Frank’s family have set up this JustGiving page to help Royal Papworth Hospital continue the incredible work it does in supporting people with silicosis and other heart and lung conditions.

Your generous funds will go directly to the Royal Papworth Charity (the Hospital’s charity arm), enabling it to continue the life-changing work it does through investments in groundbreaking heart and lung research. You can find out more about the charity here: https://royalpapworthcharity.com

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
