About Holst Victorian House
The Holst Birthplace Trust seeks to advance the education of the public and encourage the art of music. We do this through the maintenance, promotion and continuing development of Holst Victorian House a museum and period home where composer Gustav Holst was born.
Visitors to Holst Victorian House can hear stories of its eclectic residents, experience a working Victorian kitchen and scullery, and delight in authentic Victorian interiors above stairs.
They can also discover the life and times of Holst and view many of his possessions, including a piano on which he composed The Planets.
