Story
Holly & Maggie have supported the work of the DSA in various voluntary
capacities for a number of years.
The DSA are the main point of contact for hospitals, schools and the general public in Northern Ireland providing information and support on all aspects of living with Down’s syndrome. They provide accurate, non-judgemental support and information to new and expectant parents, offer New Parent/Carer training courses, medical, nursing & AHP staff training (including ‘Tell It Right’ Training), specialised youth clubs, self-esteem workshops for young adults and adults with Down’s syndrome and facilitate residential events to develop young adults through outdoor pursuits, drama, and many other social activities.
Everyone
seems to be asking for sponsorhip all the time & £5 or £10 here and there can add up to a lot – so we’ve decided to ask EVERYONE we know to EACH give
us JUST £1 each = i.e. total donation £2
This is the minimum donation online that just giving will allow
We hope to hit a great total this way & still not leave anyone out of pocket.
