Panzi is dedicated to healing survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and creating lasting change in the DRC. Founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Denis Mukwege, the Panzi Foundation stands as a beacon of resilience and change using a holistic healing model.

Story

On the 20th March I will be running from my rugby club (Hendon RFC) to Twickenham Stadium and shaving my head to raise money for the Panzi Foundation. This is a charity that exists to help victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This charity provides not only immediate emergency care within its hospital, but also helps provide holistic aftercare for victims to regain control over their own lives when so much has been taken away.
