After years of tireless work to save the lives of destitute girls, Hanta is herself sick and needs help. Hanta is the inspirational leader of Akany Avoko Faravohitra (AAF) refuge for teenaged girls. Once herself a destitute child saved by Akany Avoko, she has has given every ounce of her strength to saving other children from destitution. But now she is sick and exhausted. 

There is no free Medical care in Madagascar. Hospitalisation, scans and drugs have already cost several hundred pounds. It will take several months for Hanta to regain her strength and complete some treatment. Meanwhile we want to buy in some additional staff cover for the AAF centre so the children continue to be well cared for while Hanta has permission to reduce her working hours so she can properly recover. 

Any donations you are able to give will help to provide care for both Hanta and her 100 children at AAF.
