I am Suzanne (11) and I live in Brunei Darussalam. Last summer, I was fortunate to see orangutans in the wild and saw that protecting their habitat is needed. In Brunei, we had experienced horrible haze caused by jungle fires in South Borneo.  International Animal Rescue works together with the local community in Kalimantan. They are saving the orangutans from the burning jungle. As money is needed to get their fantastic work going, I've set up this fundraising. Although now the fires have faded, the orangutans still need help! Their habitat is destroyed and lots orangutans suffer from malnutrition. The rescue team capture and feed them until they are strong enough to be released in a secured part of the jungle.
