Recent unprecedented rains in Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan have caused widespread flooding and devastation. Millions including women, children and elderly have become uprooted and shelterless, having lost everything and living in misery. They have lost their crops, cattle, livelihood and all their belongings. There is a real threat of starvation, malnutrition, spread of disease and loss of life.
The Sindh Doctors Association UK responding to this emergency situation wants to provide relief goods including food and ration supplies, tents, medicines, mosquito nets etc. through its volunteer sister organisations and partner NGOs directly operating in the affected areas in Sindh.
The scale of the disaster is huge and the suffering continues. We are launching a renewed appeal to our friends, families and communities in the UK to come forward. Big or small, every penny counts.
Your donation of £5 - £50 (or more) will go a long way in bringing relief and reducing the misery of people
