Story
Well, after royally buggering my knee during the London Marathon in 2014 I'm finally tackling 26.2 miles again. I'll be running the Loch Ness Marathon, (hopefully) outrunning Nessie while NOT dislocating my kneecap (turns out this was a bad tactic).
I'm running for Prospect Burma, a charity that helps Burmese people to get an education abroad and then return to Myanmar to help get their country back on track.
Prospect Burma's scholars have gone on to become doctors, nurses, teachers, conservationists and engineers back in Myanmar, ensuring that the effect of their education ripples throughout their communities, improving the lives of everyone around them. In such a poor and neglected country, these very modest scholarships have a huge impact far beyond their monetary worth.
Please give generously and help me to help Prospect Burma with their amazing work!
