Run, walk, cycle or swim and take on the DA85 for Dementia Adventure! Pledge to go the distance and raise donations in this 85 mile challenge - where every mile represents 10,000 of the 850,000 people currently living with dementia in the UK.

Story

In the UK there are currently 850,000 people living with dementia. This is projected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040. In fact, someone develops dementia every three minutes. Until a cure is found we need better ways of living with this condition. Dementia Adventure believes, with the right support, people living with dementia can continue to enjoy outdoor activities, keep active and retain a sense of adventure in their lives. We have trained thousands of individuals to think differently about dementia and enabled hundreds to enjoy a supported dementia holiday, short break outing - making a huge difference to the health and wellbeing of people with dementia and their families. Help us to continue raising awareness and supporting more people by donating, fundraising and supporting our DA85 campaign. Thank you.

Dementia Adventure thinks differently about dementia. We look at what people can do, not what they can’t. We offer supported holidays and dementia training so people with dementia can get outside, experience the wellbeing benefits of nature and enjoy more active and fulfilled lives.
