Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 8 September 2019 my Mother, Suzanne, was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and secondary Liver Cancer. She had to have a section of her Colon removed along with the tumour that was blocking it.
Unfortunately the Liver Cancer is of a coverage that she cannot have the affected section surgically extracted and is undergoing intense chemotherapy. On 22 November 2019 we had a meeting with Mum's consultant and was told that there was a complication with an abscess and that the chemotherapy had not allowed the cancer to spread but neither had it shrunk it. The abscess was removed during a further stay in hospital and chemotherapy could continue.
Mum is unfortunately losing her hair due to the treatment and as a sign of support for her, I publicly had my hair shaved off on 1 February 2020 at Blantyre Old Parish Church, 2pm, to raise much needed funds for Worldwide Cancer Research. My 12 inch ponytails (3 of them) have been donated to Little Princess Trust to allow them to make wigs for children who have suffered hair-loss due to Cancer and other illnesses..
I ask that you support me with this quest and help me raise as much as possible for an amazing charity. Please, please, please share this as far as you possibly can to try to appeal to everyone you know for donations.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
