Most public services weren't designed with domestic abuse in mind, and they often struggle to keep people safe. Poor communication and gaps between services put survivors at risk. Standing Together aims to end domestic abuse by changing the way that local areas respond to it. They do this through an approach that they pioneered, called the Coordinated Community Response (CCR).

During lockdown, I was safe, not threatened or afraid, but thousands of men and women weren't as lucky and often were in fear for their lives. Also during lockdown I put on weight and barely moved so, to give myself a kick up the bum, I've signed up to walk 50km during September.
