Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If you'd have said a year ago I'd be planning to run a marathon I would probably have spat my wine and pork scratchings (classy bird that I am) in your face while l laughed out loud!
Fast forward on that year and I've done the Keighley 10km, the Bradford Half Marathon and the Liversedge Half Marathon, each with progressively better times. You could say I've got the bug - or have quite simply gone insane.
I figured if I'm going to flog my guts out and send myself insane I might as well do it for something worthwhile, which is why you're reading this plea for donations for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance!!
I'm going to RUN 26.2 miles, yes, 26.2, don't forget the .2 as that makes all the difference, on the 22nd May and I need your donations to keep me going all that way and to support this fabulous charity.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a life saving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across Yorkshire. They fly seven days a week, 365 days a year, covering a vast landscape that not only includes major cities and motor ways, but also rural and isolated locations.
PLEASE PLEASE give as generously as you possibly can - you never know when you, your family or friends might need the YAA.
Thank you - mwah :-*
