Aslaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.
Two months ago I experienced a loss of eyesight. This was totally unexpected and a huge shock. It is a life changing event and has been a difficult journey so far. Although my eyesight is expected to return, my recovery will take several months. This test has come from God, and I have hope in His mercy and wisdom that my eyesight will return as did the sight of Ya'qub (Jacob) AS. In this blessed month of Ramadan, I hope for two things: your duas for a full and swift recovery of my eyesight and secondly, your support in helping me to help others to see again. To understand what it feels like to have no vision, just close your eyes for 15 minutes and go about your daily business. It’s a test like no other, so please do help with whatever you can (£5.10.50 etc) to give the gift of sight to others.
