Story
It's no marathon I know, but for someone who couldn't run 5k this time last year, it is a challenge in itself.
I have decided to run it to also help raise funds for the Jo Walters Trust - a trust set up in the memory of Jo Walters, a girl who was in my year and house at school in Gordonstoun. In keeping with the school that we went to, the girl that Jo was and the woman she was becoming, the Jo Walters Trust provides grants to help people with great ideas, plans or futures in sport, outward bound, educational and environmental projects both home and abroad.
The Hopeman girls, or some of them, are meeting up that weekend in Edinburgh after 15 years of leaving the school and so it feels only right that Jo is there in some form or another.
Please do show your support and donate what you can.
Many thanks
Heather
