In a moment of madness in a Mess (admittedly, alcohol was involved) I agreed to join 100 participants from RAF Benson on 3 April this year to compete in my first, and most certainly only, Half Marathon!  I adore my role at the RAF Benevolent Fund as a fundraiser supporting those courageous individuals who undertake many gruelling challenges on our behalf. It is time for me to step up to the plate, put your money where my mouth is and participate in the challenge of a lifetime (for me at any rate).  I ask you dear loved ones, friends and colleagues to dig deep and support me in any way you can to enable me to reach my rather ambitious target!

The Fund provides rapid assistance in times of real need, together with on-going support to Veterans, Service Personnel and their families.  Every penny raised goes a long way to ensuring that anyone who has served their country has someone to help them in their hour of need.
