I am raising funds in memory of the life of my wonderful daughter who died in August and as thanks to the nurses and other staff of Ward 130, Department of Clinical Neuroscience at Royal Edinburgh Infirmary.

When Anna suffered a stroke as a young adult at the start of the year it was the staff of Ward 130 who cared for her in her first week in hospital.  When she entered end of life care a few weeks ago, it was again Ward 130  staff who cared for her with the utmost of respect and tenderness.  They also showed great kindness to me, her partner, grandma and other members of her close family who were able to stay with her on the ward in her precious final days.

Rather than sending a card or flowers, please consider making a donation of any amount to support staff and patient amenities, education and life-changing equipment on the ward.
