CHRIS 180 is important to us because they have so much impact on our community. They are dedicated to helping children, youth, adults, and families overcome trauma and thrive, reaching more than 10,000 people a year. Our team consists of HBCU graduates who are passionate about spreading awareness of adverse childhood experiences and minimizing the long term effects through trauma informed school environments. Chris 180s works under a School-Based Mental Health Program that is geared towards developing trauma-informed school environments in the Atlanta area and increasing access to evidence-based trauma interventions for youth and families throughout the state of Georgia.
