Fundraising for Kentucky Headwaters
US$315
raised of US$2,000 target
Headwaters Year-End Fundraiser, 30 November 2020
We carryout community initiatives to improve local water quality.

Story

Headwaters formed in 2005, when concerned community members in Letcher County, Kentucky decided to take action on water quality issues.  But working for our streams in rural Kentucky isn't easy.  To keep doing our work, we need your support!

Your donation will help launch us into the next year by:

- Helping us purchase supplies for our environment science lessons with Letcher County high schoolers.

- Increasing our capacity to recruit and train volunteer water samplers

- Implementing stream restoration projects on the North Fork of the Kentucky River and improve the quality of both our streams and our drinking water

Please give $10, $20, or $30 to Headwaters today, and support the only nonprofit in East Kentucky focused completely on water quality issues!
