Story

On July 27th 2013... Amanda Catchpole, Nicola Catchpole, Holly Wright, Gaz Minshull, Jason Doggett, Matty Fagan, Christos Griggas, Michelle Stevenson, Rob Stevenson, Jenny Lancaster, Ricky Bailey, Hayley Young, Kirsty Brewer and Kamini Lad will be taking on the 3 highest mountains in Great Britain and attempting to climb them within 24 hours!

We are taking part in this torturous challenge in aid of PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide). PAPYRUS is an amazing local charity which is dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. PAPYRUS also work closely with friends and families who are dealing with the loss of a loved one through suicide.

As we tackle the mountains we will have two very special people in our thoughts, Jenny Hunt and Arthur Tolley. Jenny and Arthur  sadly took their own lives, both within the past 3 years. This was something which friends and family could never have predicted or expected, something which has left us all heartbroken. Therefore we have decided to take on the '3 Peaks Challenge' in their memory and honour and to hopefully raise money and awareness for charity which works so hard to try and prevent young suicide!

It's going to be an extremely tough challenge, but knowing that Jenny and Arthur are looking down on us and smiling, we are sure we will get through it! We hope to raise as much money for the charity which unfortunately could not save our lovely friends but will hopefully prevent so many more young suicides. Please give what you can, every little helps! Thank you so much for your generosity.
